Lisa is about to direct 4 x45 minute episodes of the popular crime series “Maria Wern”, starring Eva Röse as the tough investigative police officer on the island of Gotland. Warner Bros. Sweden produce for TV4 and C-more.
Lisa Ohlin has signed up for the international production “A Day in the Life”, written by Xavier Nemo and produced by Dog One productions, Göta Film and Lupus Film; to be filmed in Dublin and London. Casting by Elaine Granger.
Lisa Ohlin released her first book, “Ravinen”, a diary of making a feature from writing the script to the opening, together with essays on filmmaking and the art of directing.
Lisa Ohlin will next be doing 4 x 45 minute episodes of “Stockholm Reqiuem”, a crime series based on the books of Kristina Ohlsson, following the criminologist Fredrika Bergman. The shooting will take place in Stockholm, Sweden and Antwerpen, Belgium. Producers are Black Spark Film & TV, for TV4/Cmore.
“Walk with me” has been nominated for the Danish “Robert”, for the Audience award and Best male performance. It has also been nominated for two Danish “Bodil” by the Danish Film Critics Association, for Best male performance and Best female performance. Finally, “Walk with me” opened in in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö and Helsingborg. How wonderful to show our film in my own country! The film is now sold to all Scandinavian countries, France, Slovenia, Croatia, Brazil and China.
Finally, we opened! It was a wonderful evening at the Palads Cinema in Copenhagen and the next day, the reviews came….. I am particularly happy that the press has picked up on that this is based on a true story – the meeting between the wounded soldiers in Denmark and dancers from the Royal Ballet. …

Sometimes things move fast… After viewing a three minute promo, France bought the distribution rights for “Walk with me”. Several other countries have expressed interest as well! As this truly is a story that could resonate in any country, it is wonderful to see that the vision comes across in our demo.
